Lockout Gets Out Of Jail

A fantastic match of gripping snooker in front of a vocal crowd of 3 saw The Lockout edge out Mr Angry 3-1 in a match that went to the wire. The match lasted two hours and 10 minutes. In the first frame both players were slow to get going , but whilst The Lockout gradually improved, Mr Angry never got going and the frame was won at a canter by The Lockout. However in the second frame , as the Budweisers started to take effect, Mr Angry started to pot and he moved ahead. The Lockout resorted to foul and abusive language. But Mr Angry just couldn't do enough and, as so often in the past, The Lockout was stronger on the colours to lead 2-0.The third frame saw The Lockout start strongly but he became complacent, seeing the finishing line too early. Mr Angry sezied his chance and with a volley of potting he pulled away. The colours followed , with a few exhibition snookers , and the frame had become a massacre. 2-1. Could Mr. Angry now snatch a draw ? The Lockout was rocked, but as he could now not pot a ball in a barn door, he resorted to tight safety. The Lockout held the edge and two fluked snookers looked to have sealed it , but on the colours Mr.Angry laid a magnificent snooker to reduce the lead to 14 with 3 balls left. No-one was leaving this match early !. But once again , The Lockout held his nerve and potted the blue.. 3-1. After the match The Badger was installed as the new title favourite.

The Lockout 3 vs Mr Angry 1.  55(9) - 19(1), 42(9) - 29(8), 18(13) - 50(9), 60(8) - 34(9).

Post match quotes :

The Lockout : I'll be late for work in the morning. I am drained.
Mr Angry : Talks of bribery are much exaggerated. I only won a tenner
