A tough stance is expected against The Fist and The Jackal following their failure to fulfill tonight's league fixture. Harry Burn, the league Chairman said, '.........no player is bigger than the game, and tonight's no show demonstrated a lack of respect for the host venue, the other league players, the integrity of the league , and snooker itself. We took a strong stance against The Scrapbook and The Clown and it is obvious the league will suffer it allows players to run their own schedules.....'
The rumour is that The Fist and The Jackal intended to join a breakaway league with the Scrapbook and The Clown. Unfortunately none of them could be arsed to turn up to their first meeting and so the move may have backfired. Another rumour is that they are suffering from that chronic illness that affects some men , Under The Thumb Disease.
Chairman Harry Burn has indicated that the matter will be resolved swiftly with the outcome most likely being the inclusion of two new league players and the expulsion of The Jackal and The Fist.
A sad day for snooker at a time when it is trying to win back the fans.
They are all running scared of the Hurricane, who has announced today that his next match will be the BIG ONE against Lockout on Tuesday 23rd November!! Live on Skysports 5!
ReplyDeleteA STATEMENT FROM THE JACKAL'S AGENT KON DING...
ReplyDeleteAfter the olive branch has been offered to The Jackal, he will ensure the match with The Fist will take place by the 30th November 2010.
We thank Harry Burn for his leniency.
